Manganese Violet
This moderately strong purple pigment is also known as Nuremberg Violet.
Manganese Violet was first discovered in 1868. Our Manganese Violet is a clean, bright, red-shade violet. It is a non-toxic, inorganic pigment. In cosmetics, it is commonly used in eye shadow, mascara, lipsticks, and nail varnish. The depth and vibrancy of the color as well as its exceptional safety record make it ideal for use in cosmetics including lipsticks. It is not stable in high pH (such as soap).
